A Little School.
A Big Heart.
Where Learning Meets Nature
Surrounded by Natural Beauty
Nestled in a stunning environment, our school is enriched by forests, rivers, lakes, wildlife, and breathtaking views. Whether it’s watching a bald eagle soar above the playground or spotting a herd of deer grazing outside a classroom window, these moments define the unique experience we offer to students and staff alike.
A Small, Connected School
With nine classrooms, including preschool, and most with fewer than 20 students, our small size fosters close connections. Every staff member knows each student and their family, creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere that visitors feel the moment they step inside.
A True Community School
Our school thrives because of the strong partnership between parents, teachers, and community volunteers. Together, we’re committed to providing an excellent educational experience, with many programs made possible solely through the dedication of our community.
Exceptional Staff, Exceptional Commitment
Our highly qualified staff brings professionalism, extensive experience, and a shared dedication to excellence. By working collaboratively, they ensure every student’s educational needs are met and exceeded.
Looking to the Future
As our surrounding community grows, we are prepared to grow with it. However, we remain steadfast in our commitment to preserving the qualities that make our school special: natural beauty, small class sizes, strong community ties, and educational excellence.

Why Choose A Charter School?
One of the questions we hear most frequently is “What is a Charter School?” Although the answer varies from state to state, in Colorado it is a school that is funded through district revenues but governed by a separate board. Colorado charter schools also vary from district to district, depending upon what happens to be the intent of the group that applies for the charter contract. Sometimes the intent might be to establish an unusual or atypical curriculum. Sometimes the intent might be to serve a certain special population. In some cases it might be that a private corporation or a university might want to try operating a public school. NONE OF THESE APPLY TO OUR SCHOOL.
We provide small-sized classrooms that offer a more personalized learning experience for each student, enabling them to receive ample one-on-one time with their respective teachers. We have set a maximum limit of 20 students per class.
Our teachers exhibit a high level of enthusiasm and compassion towards their students. They are reputed for staying beyond regular school hours and being accessible to both parents and students. Additionally, they actively participate in school-wide committees and events, displaying their dedication to the school.
